How Innovate.ENLE collects, uses and protects your personal information, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

1. Who we are

Innovate.ENLE is a division of Enle Business Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER — to be confirmed], with its registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS — to be confirmed].

For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. Our ICO registration number is [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER — to be confirmed].

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Information you give us — your name, email address, telephone number, company name and the content of any enquiry, when you complete a form, book a call or email us.
  • Engagement information — correspondence, project materials and any information you share with us in the course of an engagement.
  • Research participation — where you take part in interviews or user testing, the responses and recordings you consent to provide.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device information, referring page and pages viewed, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and provide the services you have requested;
  • prepare proposals, deliver engagements and manage our relationship with you;
  • send administrative communications about work in progress;
  • send marketing communications where you have asked to receive them;
  • understand how our website is used and improve it;
  • meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Contract — where processing is necessary to deliver services you have engaged us for.
  • Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our business, respond to enquiries and maintain security, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent — for marketing communications, non-essential cookies and the recording of research sessions. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with law.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, email, analytics, scheduling and CRM tools), under written agreements requiring them to protect it;
  • other divisions of Enle Business Limited where an engagement requires it, for example when work is handed over to Enle Systems or Enle Operate, and only with your knowledge;
  • professional advisers, or authorities where we are required to disclose by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside the United Kingdom. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to ensure an equivalent level of protection.

7. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. As a general guide: enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months; engagement and project records for 7 years after the engagement ends, to meet contractual and accounting obligations; and marketing data until you unsubscribe.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access a copy of your personal information; have inaccurate information corrected; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; request portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on it.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@enle.org. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Security

We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls and supplier due diligence. No transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Please see our Cookie Policy for detail on what we use and how to control it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be brought to your attention where appropriate.
